WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm – www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

California passed Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement act of 1986, to help address their growing concern over exposure to toxic chemicals. Today this law requires businesses to provide warnings to California consumers about exposures to chemicals that can cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm.  There are over 850 chemicals registered under Proposition 65 and they are updated yearly; you can find the list here: www.p65warnings.ca.gov.

We are unable to test all of our numerous products for the 850+ chemicals, so we have resolved to provide warnings on any of our products that we cannot rule out exposure to one of the many chemicals listed. A Proposition 65 warning does not mean that any of our products will cause any harm or are in violation of any product-safety standard or requirements. The warnings are there to allow Californians to make an informed decision about their exposure to chemicals.
